Check

Rancho
Jirafas, a seven-acre-plus estate with more than 750 producing Hass avocados, sits 1000 feet above sea level near the highest
point in Bonsall, providing 300-degree views from ocean to mountains. The tasteful and exquisite grounds surrounding the spacious
home were designed, planted and maintained by a Master Gardener, incorporating exotic plants suitable for this area. Orchids
thrive in the garden, an indication that Rancho Jirafas sits above the freeze line.
Inside
the home, the recently remodeled kitchen represents one of many rooms with an expansive view. Mexican tile flooring flows
from the entry into the dining room, wet bar and breakfast nook. In the living room and office you find hand-hewn maple floors.
Artistic touches appear everywhere: soaring fireplace in the living room, art niches in the entry, wooden library shelves
in the office; even down to details, such as elegant drawer pulls in the kitchen. Bedrooms have views and, of course, decorator
touches.
In 2006,
the avocado grove, produced more than 67,000 pounds of fruit. A similar harvest is expected in 2007.
